The Artist — Jane Nickels

The artwork featured on the wine label is an original work by Western Australian artist Jane Nickels, my sister.

Jane graduated from Curtin University before pursuing further studies in art therapy at the MIECAT Institute. Her background spans fine art and an exploration of creativity, expression and the human experience.

The piece was not created for the wine. It existed long before the label, with its own story and identity. Bringing it into this project felt like a natural way to connect our creative worlds.

A little piece of family, art and shared history, carried through to the finished bottle.
